Fostering Digital Inclusion in Higher Education

A UK–Pakistan partnership advancing digital accessibility and inclusive teaching. This 12-month project, funded by the British Council’s Going Global Partnerships programme, brings together the University of Dundee (UoD) and the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Business Schools to improve access to higher education for students with disabilities.

Working across institutional and cultural contexts, the project focuses on embedding inclusive and digitally accessible teaching practices that respond to the lived experiences of students. Rather than treating accessibility as an individual adjustment, the project promotes a systemic, co-designed approach to inclusive pedagogy. Through collaboration with students, academic staff, and institutional stakeholders, the project develops practical tools, builds staff capacity, and pilots inclusive teaching approaches that can be scaled across higher education systems.
